Ages: 1st-8th grade
For insurance purposes payment and forms must be received by the second session.
This session is geared toward introduction to wrestling and introduction to competition for new wrestlers interested in learning wrestling, tumbling, and body awareness. The focus will be on:
Introduction to wrestling
Body awareness
Drilling
Live wrestling
Match preparation

Sessions are held at La Costa Canyon High School in the wrestling room located on the backside of the gym. Please park in the main lot and follow the signs. There is no access allowed through the front of the gym. Kids must be signed in by an adult and released to an adult. NO DROP OFFS

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to inspire young wrestlers to invest not only in themselves but in the wrestling community as well. We strive to reinforce the essential characteristics that help foster the development of outstanding individuals; in the wrestling room, in school and at home. Family has been the foundation of this program for over 25 years and we carry on that tradition through our coaches, athletes, and parents. We pride ourselves in the fact that our Mat Rat community family has helped build this team into one of the top programs in San Diego County.
